Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. It made my week. Special thanks to Monk, for calling me early. Happy B* day to you girl tomorrow. To Janet ( my sister ) and Kevin, and to my Katlyn & Logan for calling me tonight. Now the weeks long party's & food festival's can officially begin. And thank you to my overwhelming wife, friend and partner for making me feel so special. I love you Sweetie.

A Wookalar is a fictional creature featured in the 1981 Don Knotts and Tim Conway comedy "The Private Eyes." The creature is referred to several times by Tim Conway's character, Dr. Tart, throughout the film, much to the annoyance of Knotts's skeptical Professor Winship. A Wookalar is an ugly humanoid of great strength, has a nose like a pig, and supposedly commits acts like eating chickens whole and sucking a pig's brains out through its nose.

Wookalar (wuk'-ôl-är):

Similar to the Alma of China and the Yeti of Siberia the Wookalar is a wild forest-dwelling creature with both beast and man-like traits.
They are covered in a reptile-like skin that is dark greenish-black mottled with muddy brown hair. These creatures have the ability to walk on all four legs or upright on two. They are extremely adaptable to their surroundings, with the ability to live comfortably on land or underwater. Their eyes which are set wide and slightly askew, with the outer corners slightly tilted, are all a golden yellow that actually luminousness?, allowing exceptional visibility in all conditions. it becomes apparent that the rows upon rows of various sized razor sharp teeth were designed for nothing less than absolute destruction.

These creatures grow in height to approximately five and a half feet tall.

We received an individually addressed e-mail from Lady's Head Basketball Coach Jeff Dow. Thanking us personally for coming to the playoff games, cheering loudly and supporting him and the team. It's not the first time Coach Dow has noticed and responded. He's a class act.

Tournament Information

Kristie and I went to see The Astronaut Farmer Monday night. It is a feel good movie. I had a great time and enjoyed almost 2 hours of escape and fun. The Astronaut Farmer is about a former NASA Astronaut in training who had to gave up his dream job to save his family's farm. Never having traveled into space, he decides to build his own spaceship, a replica of the historic Mercury-Atlas, by himself with materials he finds, scrounges and buys from junk dealers and surplus sales. As he nears launch and begins to be taken somewhat seriously by the government they run interference trying to stop him, mostly to save face.

Though a strange actor at times Billy Bob Thornton is good in this movie as Charlie Farmer, father, dreamer, builder, astronaut. And Virginia Madsen is a caring, loving mother and wife.

Farmers homebuilt space program project has the added benefit of bringing the whole family together. I love the scene where Charlie is told by another, 'Look at your family working together sharing a goal.' ' I can't even get my family together to share a meal. '

BTW this was a great FAMILY flick. No Language issues, no adult situations. It is filled with love and moral values.

I got tagged for jury duty this week. I had no idea I knew so many lawyers.

Hmmmm good or bad ????

The Lady Trojans have made it to the NCAA Championship playoffs. They play the first round Friday the 9th at 6pm in W.V. at Glenville State College. They face California Penn University who were the National Champions two years ago, and runners-up last year. The Trojans go into the finals as the 4th seed, and with one win advance to the sweet 16. Wish our girls luck, and good game. GO A.U.
