Dad Update: We had wonderful news back at MCG hospital Wednesday. We all traveled the 2 1/2 hours to be with dad as he once visited the neurosurgery clinic for a follow-up visit with the doctors. His fresh C.T. scans confirm the swelling and bleeding on his brain has stopped and is reducing. They also show that the additional concerns we were watching have disappeared and are no longer a factor.

What this means is that as soon as he is a little stronger dad can safely enter much more aggressive rehab and that translates into heading home once again. The doctors still refuse to put a time line on this but we all know he is much closer than before.

Prayers are being answered.

Praise God!!!

and the doctors have your best interest in mind when they do not give you time lines. It has been a LONG year of me trying to make time lines for God's plan for our family. Now 12 months later, I REALLY try not to time line the process.

Your are right. I KNOW they can not give a reasonable guess at a time line. But progress is being made, and healing is occurring. I am convinced dad is this situation has been blessed by not one but two miracles.

BTW the chief of Neurosurgery at MCG said that very thing Wednesday. Praise God for a Dr who is a man of God.
